Moyer is not a reporter he is just another ACORN thug.
Heh all of you twits that believe this nut. Instead of shooting off your mouths why don't go out and open your own insurance company. If there are millions to be made and 50% profits should be easy to do. You can get all your idiot relatives to chip in too.

There have been three polls published by the Pew Research Group, The Wall Street Journal, and Survey USA just this past year. Most recently on October 8th all showing support for a public option.

Most recently a poll of 2,000 practicing physicians showed 73% support of a public option. You should ask your doctor about it.

They should not choose health advisors who have a conflict of interest in the legislation at hand...

I don't want to simply paint Baucus as corrupt because I do believe getting 60 votes is a priority of his, and having a bill passed rather than nothing at all is his ultimate objective.

I just wished he had the guts to do what he believes would benefit the American public best. He's been supportive of the single-payer option, but he has resigned to his belief that it is unfeasible to pass.

Thank you, Bill Moyers, for broadcasting this outrageous situation. When will the American people wake up? Why do we let our own interests be buried by the greed of our legislators? Even if there is a long tradition of Congress being so willing to be bought, we, the People, should not let this continue.

The Problem lies not in the Senate or the House, it lies with You the people for Not getting involved in Your government, but allowing Big Money to control all of the purse strings. Now that the treasury is drained and your taxes go up and inflation skyrockets and some of you are without jobs or homes, you look to point that finger and place the blame. And pour ole Bill Moyers is just another rich puppet.

Where do you see that these advisors have a conflict of interest in the legislation? Fowler has specific expertise and her skills are needed. Baucus or Wellpoint may hire her.

If she was an exec at Coca Cola who left for a job at Pepsico would you assume shes a Coke spy? If not, then why assume the worst here?

Baucus IS doing what he believes would benefit the American public best - working for HI reform and universal coverage, even if it follows the no Public Option Swiss model.

are you serious? Do you know anything about government? Do you remember Cheney and KBR? Do you know about govt/company/lobbyist revolving door?

There are many people who have health care expertise, including MANY impartial MDs and analysts. Not all of them are ex VPs of Health care Co's.

as bill nelson pointed out today when the bill passed today he was in favor of the public option and by the time it gets to the floor it will be back in when asked why the republicans were against the bill he said because the insurance companies were against it so to me that is a good thing
