Greedy Insurance Companies – Unscrupulous United Healthcare CEO Stephen Hemsley

This video is just a glimpse into the corrupt and greedy world of health insurance. It is deplorable that in the 21st century Americans have to suffer at the hands of these companies and the likes of Stephen Hemsley. Health care is a basic human right. Hemsley is a murderer.

  2. DigitalCortex says:

@SexSteakSoda : I don’t think it’s as simple as that for all obese people. Some people have a propensity for gaining weight and not being able to lose it.

  3. SexSteakSoda says:

United Health Care is one of the most evil corporations out there. All about profit. Its fucking ridiclous how obsessed some people are with money. Do you really need 20 cars, three mansions, a helicopter and all that shit? At the end of the day its all about materialism. The CEO of United Shit Care is taking money from people then finding any way possible to deny them coverage when they’re supposed to fullfill their end of the bargain. Greedy fuckin assholes. Can’t wait for the Reform.

  4. SexSteakSoda says:

@DigitalCortex Hahaha, well sadly obese people can take the fork out of their mouths and solve 90% of their health problems. But they don’t, most don’t have self control or discipline.

  5. lerxt42 says:

you cannot reason with these people. The problem here is as long as the individual is alright then screw everyone else….you have to live somewhere where there is an earthquake or some disaster in order to get help

  6. DigitalCortex says:

Don’t forget people with a history of cancer, diabetes and other hereditary diseases in their family. We should just euthanize them so soulless SOB’s like you can continue living.

  7. DigitalCortex says:

So if your employer offers health insurance through UHG your solution is to just go without. You’re absolutely right I don’t get your brand of soulless capitalism. I can’t measure everything in monetary terms. It’s called being a human being and I guess you don’t get that.

  8. m015094 says:

Bottom line is that if people don’t like UHG and the pay the CEO gets, then they won’t use them.

It’s called capitalism and I guess you don’t get that.

  9. m015094 says:

The bigger concern here is obese people and how much they cost us.

  10. DigitalCortex says:

I’m not trying to convince you of anything. People like you are too closed minded to be reasoned with. You are also deaf. she said 1 in 700 not 7, but I think that’s selective and from the Karl Rove playbook. In 2008 UnitedHealth Group revenue’s were $75,431,000,000 and their profits were $4,654,000,000 which is about a 6% not 2.2%. I got my data from Fortune magazine and didn’t pull it out of my ass like you.

  11. LiberalDrivel says:

2.2% profit – yes that is obscene! Let us not forget that Medicare denies more claims than United Healthcare. $1 out of every $7 spent on health care goes to UNH’s CEO? LUDICROUS! Do the math! You’re trying to convince us that he makes $144 billion a year? Medicare denies more claims – at 3 times the rate of UNH. This is more liberal drivel. Liberal lies.

Thanks for posting this caring, insightful, relevant and urgent video.

  13. sagondo says:

Stephen Hemsley makes nearly 60,000 an hour, and makes tens of millions in annual bonuses for increasing company profit by denying there sickest clients live saving treatment.
Why are Americans accepting of this in a rich nation that likes to boast about its “Christian values?” We are a Godless nation of greedy, selfish and arrogant hypocrites.
This is the ugly truth that most Americans are oblivious to and unconcern with. The American dream is in foreclosure!

  14. sagondo says:

Americans live in a bubble,While Wall Street was wrecking our economy the corporate media was derelict in its obligation as was the government regulators who aided and abetted the corporate crooks, and even after the theft was complete the media continued to blame poor and working class for the crisis. More than a year later the have been NO arrest or indictments of any of the thieves. We can give trillion to the banks that caused this while denying the needy health care. God bless the USA?

  15. DigitalCortex says:

First of all I lived in the UK for many years and their healthcare system was just fine. But let me get ths straight. Anyone that doesn’t think like you or share your opinions is not a real American? So your half century of life has taught you that making statements like this is what a real American does. This coming from a man from Texas, the State that wants to secede from the United States. I hope you see the irony of the situation.

  16. hr1dave says:

It is funny that it’s the democrats complaining about corporate profits. Ask the democrats how the fly all over in their private jets and your tax dollars are paying for their lifestyle. Live on Universal Healthcare in Canada and UK. Let’s see how you like paying over 50% taxes. When you are so over tax, let Obama provide you with their socialist plan. You are not real Americans.

I was on Medicare from 1984-1986 while I was on dialysis until I recieved a kidney from my mother. The most recent transplants, Medicare was my secondary while I was on dialysis. I have no complaints. I do believe the system we have needs a major reform. There is a lot of fraud and waste. I’m just not all in on what is currently being proposed. I believe people in need due to no fault of their own should have healthcare. It’s gotten too easy for people to not try for themselves a little

  18. DigitalCortex says:

Let’s talk after you’ve been on Medicare for a couple of years.

  19. DigitalCortex says:

When it comes to health care you shouldn’t go by how well you were treated. I have a pretty good plan through my employer too. But it’s an expensive plan and people who aren’t employed by companies such as ours could not afford it. Health care should not be a privilege, it should be a right. What if police protection was run the way health care is. Only the people who could afford it would be protected. Think about it.

  20. MeandProgressive says:

    INSURANCE COMMISSIONER INVESTIGATING PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE
John W. Oxendine ordered a market conduct examination into recent allegations of invasion of privacy, fraud and other misdeeds by Progressive Insurance Co. “Georgia policyholders should expect an open and honest relationship with their insurance company,” Oxendine said. “In order to assure truthfulness within the industry, when we hear of possible wrongdoing, we have to act promptly to protect the consumer.”

  21. MeandProgressive says:

Its situational application of the law, we pay for bogus insurance – Corporate crooks get rich, Progressive utilizes dumb caricature to sell worthless insurance policies. There is nothing funny about death and mangled bodies. Progressive is nothing more than a Ponzi Scheme in which Corporate Executives such as Glen Renwick get rich and leave injured policy holders bogus insurance policies which are not worth the paper they are written on. See Progressive Insurance Has Treated Me as Roadkill

  22. Freebird621 says:

Just a side note to my last comment. I do not believe that if I was under a government run insurance program, with my age creeping into the 50′s , that it would of been as easy as it was to get the transplants.

  23. Freebird621 says:

Corporate heads do make too much money, but I am the recipeint of a Kidney Transplant and a Pancreas Transplant that were approved by UHC. The Co. I work for paid for it. I was given no troubles about recieving my transplants. I do not know the whole story of the others or what type of insurance plan they had. I know most employee insurance plans are paid for and set up by the company they work for and that the Insurance company just administers it.

  24. birdbook1 says:

long live the king of United Healthcare

  25. birdbook1 says:

Do not give doctors any money. They do not deserve anything.
Just give it to ther CEO and his board roommates. He will take care of patients.
