Health Industry CEO’s Unwilling To Stop Dropping Coverage For Pre-Existing Conditions

Insurance companies don’t like paying for care. When a customer gets sick, they look for excuses to drop their coverage. They hire teams of sleuths to look for any small omission or mistake on an application form, so they can say, “Aha, they didn’t fill out their application correctly. We’re dumping them.” And since they wait until people are sick, this means that even patients diagnosed with something as serious as cancer can have life-saving treatments and critical surgeries canceled or delayed when the insurance company pulls the rug out from under them.
